Halloween Spooktacular!

My family got together for a Halloween shin-dig.  It was pretty spooktacular!

We started the evening with a delicious dinner (made by my fabulous Mom) of broccoli cheese soup, pumpkin bread bowls, and lots of little goodies!
Observe my Mom's beautifully festive spread:

Next, we decided to play some traditional games (this will make you jealous . . . ).
We kicked off the game-playing with a spider pinata.  I picked the spider because I didn't feel bad smashing it to pieces. We whacked the poor spider to smithereens in my parent's garage.  It was pretty fun.  Russell didn't know what to think about it though . . .

Russell loved the excitement of getting the candy.

We then ate doughnuts off of strings (this is where you REALLY become jealous).

We then pinned the braces on Mater.  Props to my brother for being so creative.  More props to most of the party members for not getting their braces on the huge cardboard cut-out.

Russell and Alie were the really festive guests as the evening.

Alie dressed up as Flo from Progressive.

Russell dressed up as Russell from "Up."
More pictures of that to come . . .

Happy Haunting!
